The wood fired kiln leaves its marks on a clay jar crafted by Chorti women. It rests on its side near a clay casserole used as a bean pot. By Guatemalan artist Jose Obeniel Ramirez, this beautiful sill life is painted with pastels. He presents the composition in a mat board passe partout. Titled Jarra y olla in Spanish. Read more
